Environmental Investment
This is how much we have invested in environmental conservation: |
Our investments in environmental protection are classifiable as i) investment directly linked to reducing the environmental impact of TaKaRa's activities, or ii) investment in environmental burden reductions by society as a whole, or iii) investment in nature conservation and efforts to foster environmental awareness.
- i)
- Investments to reduce TaKaRa's environmental burdens lead directly to environmental burden reductions; these investments diminish gradually as their effects are felt.
- ii)
- Investments in container recycling represent TaKaRa's attempt to assume responsibility for reducing environmental burdens caused by society as a whole. No single company's efforts alone can lead immediately to visible, tangible results. Efforts by society as a whole are also destined to decrease as they bring these efforts to fruition.
- iii)
- Investments in nature conservation activities and environmental education campaigns must continue to return corporate profits back into the community and to make useful contributions.
