Suggestions from Stakeholders

- Establish CSR Procurement System with characteristics of Kyoto and Takara
We hope that Takara will consider more concrete steps to create an “active society,” as described in its Corporate Philosophy. As a leading company in Kyoto, we hope that Takara will establish a CSR procurement mechanism comparable to those in other advanced nations that consider such factors as corporate ethics and labor conditions as well as the environment and local communities when deciding suppliers. A solid management strategy to put the Corporate Philosophy and Rules of Conduct into practice will also be necessary.

- Analysis of disclosed information and report of countermeasures
In some cases targets are not always achieved. In order to maintain transparency and the integrity as a company, Takara Shuzo is required to report its analysis and responses to the targets not achieved.

- Strengthen communication with stakeholders
We request that Takara Shuzo encourage local residents and university students to participate in the communication activities, in addition to its customers, shareholders, business partners and government authorities. Gaining understanding toward Takara Shuzo’s business activities through a wide spectrum of communication and incorporating opinions and requests from various stakeholders will further promote its CSR activities.
