For Our Employees’ iki-iki (happiness)

Creating a Challenging Workplace

To nurture our employees to be balanced “human treasures” as staff, members of society and individuals, Takara Shuzo endeavors to enhance its personnel system and training programs.

The Image of a Human Treasure that We Aim For

The Image of Human Treasures We Aim ForAt Takara Shuzo, we see people as irreplaceable assets. In recognition of this, we have altered the characters in the word, “jinzai,” changing its meaning from “human resources” to “human treasures.” We consider the development of corporate culture and human treasures to be indispensable to improving our corporate value. From the standpoint of respect for people, we promote a lively, positive workplace that encourages a will to work and a climate that allows for personal development. Within that, we help our employees nurture a balance in their roles as staff, members of society and individuals.

Renewal of Personnel System

On April 1, 2007, Takara Shuzo revised its personnel system for regular employees. The revised system aims to further draw out the potential of each employee by introducing a system focused on individual roles rather than individual capacity to realize equal and fair treatment depending on their achievements.
The new system strictly controls profit in the processes from objectives management to evaluation, thereby enhancing the linkage between performance and evaluation so that employees who show successful results are rewarded accordingly.

Nurturing Human Treasures and Personnel Development

Takara Shuzo places high priority on training programs for new employees.

New Employee Training

We provide a one-month special training program for new employees so that they can gain a good understanding of the company and the liquor industry well, and make the shift from students into dependable members of society. After that, they learn about actual sales operations by accompanying their seniors and experiencing production at factories all over Japan to acquire manufacturing. We continue this program for those assigned to sales department for a further six months in order to develop sales employees with excellent product presentation skills.
