 Quality Initiatives
Takara Shuzo endeavors to manufacture reliable products of consistent quality in order to deliver products that are safe and full of flavor to our customers. To this end, we observe the Food Sanitation Law and other relevant laws and pursue quality and safety for products in all processes, from product planning, design, procurement and manufacture to shipment. |
At the product planning phase, we conduct consumer surveys and group interviews to identify the needs of customers and markets, which we use to develop high-quality products that are bursting with originality.
In recent years, consumers have become more and more conscious of the safety and security of food. In response, work is currently under way at Takara Shuzo to develop products using high-quality materials of reliable origin.

At the quality design phase, we thoroughly check product safety, the ease of use of containers and production at factories, utilizing a specialized design review method.
Firstly, development divisions concoct a trial product and checks are conducted on its quality and preservation stability. Then, all data obtained is gathered and put under design review by engineers. At this stage, the use-by date is set and nutritional information to be included in a label is decided.
Subsequently, quality specifications and manufacturing processes for the product will be reviewed. Only when they are approved, is production at factories permitted. |
