Proposals from Stakeholders
To boost an awareness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for all employees
To promote CSR, it is important for all employees to deepen their understanding of CSR and to act in the same direction as top management in endeavoring to fulfill its commitments. To this end, the company is expected to review basic policies regularly and reinforce its education and training programs.

To value the regional characteristics of Kyoto
As a company that has played a role in Japanese food culture, Takara Shuzo should take another good look at the regional characteristics of Kyoto, where its business started. In order to gain momentum as a global company in the future, it is important to be a company trusted by the local community.

To reinforce sociality as an investment in the future
CSR is a balance between the environment, and the social and economic responsibilities of a company. Regarding the company’s social responsibilities, discussions have just begun at many companies. We expect Takara Shuzo to identify its shortcomings as soon as possible in its efforts to discharge its social responsibilities and to stipulate and implement policies and specific guidelines accordingly.

To define the Next Takara Vision
Informing stakeholders clearly of the vision to be followed by the company and the efforts to be made to fulfill that vision will enhance the trustworthiness of the company, in addition to the effort currently being undertaken. Takara Shuzo should define how it will bring in stakeholders and what kind of relationships it will establish with them, as well as how it will deal with social issues.

To cooperate with NPOs and NGOs
As a leading company in its field, Takara Shuzo should work positively on its social contribution as a part of its CSR efforts. Besides monetary contributions, Takara Shuzo can contribute to society and the local community by implementing wide-ranging aid projects that utilize its management resources such as facilities, personnel and technology, in cooperation with local NPOs and NGOs.
