To prevent environmental pollution, Takara Shuzo implements environmental management that not only observes the laws, but goes a step further with independent standards and guidelines. Effectively using the company-wide program that enabled the acquisition of ISO 14001 certification, we perform periodic reviews and verify compliance with laws. Takara was not in violation of any environmental laws during fiscal 2004.
