Takara Group Compliance Code of Conduct stipulates fair transaction as follows:
Adherence to the Anti-monopoly Law
We will adhere to the Anti-monopoly Law, will not impose unreasonable trade restrictions and shall not conduct unfair transactions. We will opt for fair and free inter-corporate competition.
Prevention of unfair competition
We will adhere to the Unfair Competition Prevention Law. We will not display representations that may lead to our products being confused with other companies’ products. We will not obtain nor use other companies’ trade or corporate secrets by improper means.
Proper transactions with suppliers and observance of the Subcontractor Law
We will deal with suppliers impartially and fairly, in compliance with the Subcontractor Law.
Proper business entertainment and gifts
We will keep business entertainment and the receiving and giving of gifts within the bounds that are recognized as acceptable according to socially-accepted wisdom. In compliance with the ethics-in-government law, we will not offer business entertainment or gifts to civil servants and quasi-civil servants.
Ban on giving business gifts to foreign civil servants
We will not provide, make commitments to provide, nor offer to provide any money to officers of foreign governments or local public agencies, in return for any business facilities.
