Corporate Structure for Environmental Activities
TaKaRa carries out all of its environmental activities through "Eco Challenge 21", the company-wide environmental policy project.
In TaKaRa, we divide environmental issues into 1) environmental problems generated within production facilities or elsewhere within the company; and 2) environmental problems exported to the public through our products, such as the recycling problem. Efforts to solve these two categories of environmental problems are handled by separate sections, as appropriate for the specifics and knowledge requirements of each problem.
Overall environmental activity policy and major decisions are decided by the "Eco Challenge 21 Main Committee", headed by the chairman of the board.

Challenge Activity Organization

* Eco Challenge 21 Main Committee Chair: Chairman of the Board, Yoshiro Hosomi
* Environment related sections: Environmental Conservation Section of the Environment/Quality Management Division (Kyoto Main Office), Environment Section of the Environment/Business Division (Tokyo Branch)
