Compilation Method

This Green Balance Report introduces the environmental impact of our corporate activities and the results of our conservation activities to the public in easy-to-understand terms. The report is compiled with the purpose of expanding and promoting conservation activities, by exposing to public scrutiny the progress of our environmental activities.
Furthermore, by supplying detailed information on activities that rely heavily on corporate/consumer cooperation, such as solving the container and packaging problem, we hope to work with consumers toward solutions.
Takara Shuzo hopes that this report will aid in the heightening of environmental awareness and in the cooperation of corporations and citizens toward tackling environmental problems.

Scope of the Green Balance Report 2000

• Time Period: April 1999 - March 2000
• Green Ink Accounting Calculations and Data
  • Includes the environmental impact from the delivery of raw materials for alcohol, beverages, and condiments to the discarding of used products.
  • For outsourced consignment products, the scope includes the environmental impact from time of delivery of products to Takara Shuzo.
• Environmental Accounts : Takara Shuzo
• Descriptive Information : Takara Shuzo and related companies
  • Some items may be from outside of the scope of the time period.
